The new HSK has a date. We already did the homework.
The first official sitting of the new exam is announced for 13 December 2026, for HSK 1 to 6. Its syllabus sets 11,000 words in all. Every dictionary page says where the new exam puts the word, if it tests it at all, and the converter shows where an old HSK 2.0 level lands.

Is HSK Lord free?
Yes, on the free plan: 10 new cards every day for as long as you like, with reviews never capped, every HSK level, and no credit card. There is no free trial. The free plan is how you try it.
What does Premium add?
Unlimited new cards every day, with your progress and streak carried over from the free plan. Subscribe for $12 USD/month or $79/year whenever you want unlimited new cards, or $149/year for Scholar, which adds every vocabulary PDF. You can also invite friends to earn bonus Premium days.
How is HSK Lord different from Anki?
HSK Lord is built for the HSK. There is no setup, no hunting for decks and no configuration: our HSK 1 to 9 study lists (10,978 words) are built in with pinyin, definitions, audio and spaced repetition. Anki is the more customisable tool if you want to build your own cards.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. HSK Lord is on iOS and Android, and it also works in any phone browser. The app and the website share one account, so your words, streak and reviews follow you between them.
What if I already know some Chinese?
Take the free placement test to find your level, or pick the HSK level that matches what you know. You can start at HSK 1 or go straight to a higher level.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. There are no contracts or commitments. You can cancel your subscription at any time and you keep access until the end of your billing period, after which your account becomes free rather than locked.
