Account Registration

To use HSK Lord, you must create an account with a valid email address or sign in via Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Free Trial & Subscriptions

HSK Lord offers a 30-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start.

After the trial, continued access requires a paid subscription.
Subscription fees are billed monthly through Stripe.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of your current billing period.
Referral bonuses may extend your free access period as described on the site.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service.
Share your account credentials or allow others to access your account.
Scrape, data mine, or extract content from the Service through automated means.

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of HSK Lord — including text, graphics, logos, software, and the spaced repetition algorithm — are the property of HSK Lord and are protected by intellectual property laws. HSK vocabulary lists are based on publicly available HSK standards.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

Limitation of Liability

HSK Lord is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
