How to Say “I am cool with it” in Chinese
Feelings and opinions · HSK 3
"I am cool with it" in Chinese is 我没问题 (wǒ méi wèntí). There's no direct equivalent of the slangy English 'I'm cool with it'; Chinese expresses the same idea with 我没问题 ('I have no problem') or 我都可以 (wǒ dōu kěyǐ, 'anything's fine with me'). Among young people in Mainland China you'll also hear 我OK, literally mixing English in, which is very Gen-Z.

When to use it
There's no direct equivalent of the slangy English 'I'm cool with it'; Chinese expresses the same idea with 我没问题 ('I have no problem') or 我都可以 (wǒ dōu kěyǐ, 'anything's fine with me'). Among young people in Mainland China you'll also hear 我OK, literally mixing English in, which is very Gen-Z. In more formal contexts, 我没意见 ('I have no objection') is what you'd say in a meeting. Avoid translating 'cool' as 酷 (kù) here; 酷 means 'cool' as in stylish, not 'fine with something'. Tone matters: say 我没问题 flatly and it sounds genuine; drag it out and it might sound reluctant.
