"What brings you here?" in Chinese is 你怎么来了？ (Nǐ zěn me lái le?). 你怎么来了 is the everyday version; friendly surprise, like "hey, what are you doing here?" Tone matters: said warmly it's welcoming, said flatly it can sound like "why are you here?" For a business or hotel context, staff will say 请问您有什么事吗? ("May I ask what you need?"). Chinese doesn't have a poetic equivalent of "what brings you here"; the directness of 怎么来 (how did you come / why are you here) is the natural form.
